MCCC OFFERS ‘LATE-START’, 8-WEEK COURSES BEGINNING OCT. 19

In response to an unusual number of full class sections for popular online classes this Fall Semester due to increased demand created by COVID-19, Monroe County Community College is offering a slate of “late start” online classes.

The classes are eight weeks in length and begin October 19. They run through Dec. 14.

A typical MCCC semester is 15 weeks. Fall Semester began on Aug. 26.

The late-start class offerings are in the areas of criminal justice, English, humanities and math.

They include:

  • Intro to Criminal Justice 
  • Intro to Computer Information Systems
  • English Composition I 
  • Introduction to Humanities 
  • Beginning Algebra 
  • Intermediate Algebra 
  • General Psychology 

Current or returning students can register for the late-start classes online via MyWebPAL which is available from the MCCC home page at www.monroeccc.edu or directly at https://mywebpal.monroeccc.edu/Student/courses.
