MCCC’S STATE OF THE COLLEGE ADDRESS TO THE COMMUNITY SET FOR DECEMBER 17

Monroe County Community College President Dr. Kojo A. Quartey will present the State of the College Address to the Community on Dec. 17 at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom web conferencing.

Among the items to be covered during the address:

  • The status of projects that are part of the college’s current 5-year Maintenance and Improvement Millage, as well as those that will be covered by the renewal of that millage that passed in November
  • MCCC’s 2020-2025 Strategic Plan
  • The Futures for Frontliners program, through which those who worked in essential industries during the COVID-19 pandemic (from April 1 – June 30) can apply for funding to attend MCCC tuition free
  • An update on the college’s response to COVID-19
