THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JOYCE HOAGLAND EBY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Joyce Hoagland Eby Scholarship to Breanna Birkenhier and Jamie Stewart. Each $1,750 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Birkenhier of Flat Rock is a 2020 graduate of Saint Mary Catholic Central High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC.  Birkenhier is the daughter of Tracy and Keith Birkenhier.

Stewart of Monroe is a 2002 graduate of Thomas Christian Academy. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC.  Stewart is involved in the ministry and leadership of CrossWalk Monroe Church.  She is the wife of Keith.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must show financial need and must maintain nine credit hours or more per semester and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
