THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE KIRWEN AND KARAU SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship to Isabelle Joly. The $1,400 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Joly of Temperance is a 2019 graduate of Bedford High School. She is pursuing an associate degree at MCCC then continuing her education to get her degree in speech pathology. Joy has volunteered her time as a cheer coach and gymnastic teacher. Isabelle is the daughter of Bonnie and Joseph Joly.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be planning to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, be a graduate of a high school in Monroe County, Michigan, must show high academic achievement and must maintain full-time enrollment status of at least 12 credit hours.
