THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MONROE AGING CONSORTIUM HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe Aging Consortium Health Sciences Scholarship to Camryn Hopper and Taylor Wright. Each $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Hopper of La Salle is a 2018 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is currently in the respiratory therapy program at MCCC. She is the daughter of Annette Peters and Matthew Hopper.

Wright of Ida is a 2017 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying respiratory therapy at MCCC and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Wright has volunteered for the American Lung Association setting up and running events. Taylor is the daughter of Julie Mommerency and Troy Wright.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be pursuing a health sciences certificate or degree, a resident of the state of Michigan and have a 2.5 grade point average, with the highest preference given to a student with a demonstrated financial need.
