THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE NAMASTE DAY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Namaste Day Scholarship to Adam Stewart. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Stewart of Monroe is a 2020 graduate of Airport High School. He is studying welding while attending MCCC. He’s a volunteer at his church as an usher and worked at River Raisin National Battlefield Park. Adam is the son of Dana and Lara Stewart.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must express interest in and have a strong history of community service, be at least a part-time student, defined as six billable contact hours per semester at MCCC, and agree to speak at the Namaste Day event held on the MCCC campus.
