THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE ROTARY CLUB OF MONROE SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Rotary Club of Monroe Scholarship to Joseph Hendricks of Temperance. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Hendricks is a 2019 Bedford High School graduate. He is pursuing an associate degree while attending MCCC and is undecided about his major. While attending BHS, he participated in the Green Team and was a member of the School Improvement Board. Joseph is the son of Paula and Daniel Hendricks.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of a high school located in Monroe County, Michigan, and must be enrolled full-time during their scholarship year. Full-time enrollment is defined as twelve (12) billable contact hours or more per semester (during fall and winter semesters). The character of the scholarship recipient must be compatible with Rotary’s core values of integrity, service, fellowship, leadership and diversity and financial need must be considered in awarding the scholarship.
