The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Susan L. Lingar “A.G.” Memorial Scholarship to Breanna Jewell. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Jewell of Monroe is a 2020 graduate of Monroe High School. She will be studying accounting while attending MCCC. Breanna is the daughter of Brandon and Tasha Jewell.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing a degree in the accounting field, must be a graduate of a Monroe County, Michigan, high school or completed a GED, be a Monroe County resident, and a U.S. citizen. Additionally, students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, and must maintain part-time enrollment status of at least six credit hours or more.
