THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE WILLIAM E. RUPP SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William E. Rupp Scholarship to Jacob Hugo and Autumn Palmer. Each $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.

Hugo of Temperance is a 2019 graduate of Bedford High School. He is studying nursing while attending MCCC.  He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, fosters dogs and cats for the Toledo Humane Society and volunteered at the Indian Creek Zoo.  He is the son of Amanda and John Hugo.

Palmer of Temperance is a 2018 home school graduate.  She plans to earn her associate degree while attending MCCC and then transfer to either Concordia University or Spring Arbor University to pursue her bachelor’s degree in social work. She is the daughter of Michael and April Palmer.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a Monroe County resident, a U.S. Citizen and maintain a full-time enrollment status of 12 credit hours or more. In addition, the student must have a grade point average of 3.4 or above.
