MCCC HOSTING FLU SHOT CLINIC SEPTEMBER 13 FOR COMMUNITY

The Respiratory Therapy Program at Monroe County Community College will host a Flu Shot Clinic on Monday, September 13, 2022, from 9 a.m. - 4 :30 p.m. for the community, including MCCC staff and students.

The flu shots will be administered by trained CVS pharmacists. The shots are free, with insurance, and available to adults, 18 years or older, and those under 18 with parental consent. Participants need to bring photo identification and insurance card. "Even those people without insurance can and will be able to receive a flu shot," said Dr. Ijaz Ahmed, director of the Respiratory Therapy Program. 

The Flu Shot Clinic will be held in the Gymnasium in the Gerald Welch Health Education Building at the north end of the main campus at 1555 Raisinville Road in Monroe.
