Chili Supper Fundraiser Feb. 11 to Send 'Agora' Newspaper Staff to National Competition

The community is invited to participate in a special Agora Chili Supper event on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from noon - 4 p.m. to help raise funds to send the 'Agora' student newspaper staff, including editors, writers and content contributors, to the College Media National Convention in New York City this spring. The cost for the supper is $15 per person and includes the main course of chili along with an array garnishes and tasty side dishes. No reservations are needed. 

The 'Agora' is Monroe County Community College's student-run digital newspaper (https://mcccagora.com/) and printed 'zine editions published throughout the academic year. The supper will be held in the new Agora Newsroom (C-213) in the recently renovated Campbell Academic Center on the college's main campus, 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI.
