MCCC'S INSIDE OUT DANCE ENSEMBLE HOLDING AUDITIONS JAN. 20 & 21

Monroe County Community College's renowned Inside Out Dance Ensemble will hold auditions for the season on Friday, January 20 from 5 - 7 p.m. and Saturday, January 21 from 9 - 11 a.m. for experienced dancers over 18 for full company membership and those 14 and over for apprenticeships. Auditions will be held in Room H-139 in the Welch Health Education Building on the north end of the college's main campus.

IODE is a contemporary dance company that has been housed at MCCC since 2010. Under the direction of Kellie Lajiness, IODE provides sophisticated dance entertainment at events both on campus and off campus for the community.

The highlight of each season is the annual recital at MCCC. This year's event, "Soundtracks," will deliver stylistic vignettes through the art of dance to movie soundtrack favorites. "Soundtracks" performances are scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. in the Meyer Theater of the La-Z-Boy Center on the college's main campus, 1555 S. Raisinville Road, Monroe.
