The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded Dr. Joyce Haver and Gerald Welch Scholarship to Emma Zukowski. The $750 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Zukowski, of Monroe, is a 2022 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying education at MCCC, with plans to transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree and become an English teacher. Emma is the daughter of Keith and Angela Zukowski.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be have at least a 2.0 grade point average, study secondary education and plan on attending Eastern Michigan University after graduating from MCCC.
