The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Graceful Memories Scholarship to Allie Walter. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Walter, of Monroe, is a 2019 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying nursing at MCCC. While attending MHS, she was a member of National Honor Society and was involved in a teacher mentor program providing community service. Allie is the daughter of Amy Walter.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a Monroe County, Michigan, resident, who is pursuing a degree in the medical field and demonstrates financial need.
