THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE IRMA A. (McLAUGHLIN) McINTYRE MEMORIAL ENDOWED AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Irma A. (McLaughlin) McIntyre Memorial Endowed Agriculture Scholarship to Alyssa Otto. The $1,050 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

 Otto, of Temperance, is a 2023 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying in the Agribusiness program including crop sales and marketing management while attending MCCC. As a student at IHS she was vice president of Future Farmers of American, Monroe County 4H teen ambassador and historian.  Alyssa is the daughter of Bryan Otto and Kelly Otto.

 To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the agriculture program at MCCC, be at least a part-time student, be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, and demonstrate financial need.
