THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MONROE AGING CONSORTIUM HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Monroe Aging Consortium Health Sciences Scholarship to Hannah Nagy. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.

Nagy, of Brownstown, is a 2018 graduate of Oscar A. Carlson High School, Gibraltar, MI. She is currently in the nursing program at MCCC, is an active member of the Student Nurses Association and a candidate for the national Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society. Hannah is the daughter of Gary Nagy Sr. and Brandy Nagy.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be pursuing a health sciences certificate or degree, a resident of the state of Michigan and have a 2.5 grade point average, with the highest preference given to a student with a demonstrated financial need.
