THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE ROTARY CLUB OF MONROE SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Rotary Club of Monroe Scholarship to Abagale Huff. The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Huff photoHuff, of Carleton, is a 2022 St. Mary Catholic Central High School graduate. She is in the nursing program at MCCC.  She is an active member in a pro-life group. Abagale is the daughter of Teresa and David Huff.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of a high school located in Monroe County, Michigan, and must be enrolled full-time during their scholarship year. Full-time enrollment is defined as twelve (12) billable contact hours or more per semester (during fall and winter semesters).  The character of the scholarship recipient must be compatible with Rotary’s core values of integrity, service, fellowship, leadership and diversity.  Financial need must also be considered in awarding the scholarship.
