THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE JACOBS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Jacobs Engineering Technology Scholarship to Sarah Williams. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.

Williams, of Monroe, is a 2008 graduate of Hazel Park High School, Hazel Park, MI.  She is studying nuclear engineering technology at MCCC.  Sarah is involved in gaming communities including running multiple discord servers which includes scheduling events, providing daily updates and moderating.  She is the wife to Emerson Williams.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree from any program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division with preference given to a second-year student and must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.

Applications for scholarships awarded by The Foundation for the 2024 – 25 academic year are now being accepted. The online scholarship application is available at www.monroeccc.edu/scholarships. Returning and prospective students are encouraged to apply now for over 200 available scholarships for the upcoming academic year. Students have until March 1, 2024, to complete their scholarship application; however, it is recommended that students apply as soon as possible. Not all scholarships are need-based or require a high grade point average or full-time status. Many are program specific and are available in all traditional and technical career training programs.
