THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE ROOF FAMILY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Roof Family Scholarship to Joseph Estill and Madelyn Kvicala. Each $3,750 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Estill, of Newport, is a 2018 graduate of Airport High School. While at MCCC, he will be studying nuclear engineering technology. He has volunteered recently as a camp counselor for his church.  Joseph is the son of Beth Estill and Joseph Estill.

Kvicala, of South Rockwood, is a 2023 graduate of Huron High School, , Ann Arbor. While at MCCC, Madelyn will be studying criminal justice. She is a member of 4-H Youth Equestrian Development Association and Floral City Horseman Association. Madelyn is the daughter of Holly and Robert Kvicala.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must enroll in an occupational program of study with the intent to complete a program of study at MCCC and immediately enter the workforce, must be a full-time student defined as twelve (12) billable contact hours or more, must be a resident of and graduated from high school in Monroe County, Michigan, and must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher. Preference is given to students graduating from Dundee Community Schools.
