Monroe County Community College has awarded the Bonnie Finzel Doster Altrusa International of Monroe Scholarship to Bailey Pinter. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Pinter, of Carleton, is a 2013 graduate of Airport High School. She is in the LPN to RN program at MCCC. She is an LPN for Henry Ford Health educating and training coworkers and has volunteered for Mercy’s Angels. Bailey is the wife to Matthew and mother to Allen and Lucille.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must present financial need, good academic standing, past or present community service and reside in Monroe County. Additionally, the applicant must be seeking education in order to return to the workforce.
