THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS FORMER BEDFORD ROTARIANS AND FRIENDS SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Former Bedford Rotarians and Friends Scholarship to Kyle Parks. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Parks, of Dimondale, MI, is a 2025 graduate of Bedford Senior High School.  He is studying electrical engineering technology at MCCC.  He participated in cross county, track and wrestling, was a member of marching band while at BSHS. He was also an active member of the Link Crew who help incoming freshman acclimate to BSHS. Kyle credits his entire family for his successes.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Bedford High School, first year student at MCCC, maintain fulltime enrollment while at MCCC, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, present financial need, demonstrate past or present community or public service and must perform 20 hours of community or public service during the scholarship year.
