The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Dr. Gerald L. Howe Scholarship to Kaylee Stein. The $1,150 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Stein, of Monroe, is a 2023 graduate of Ida High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association at MCCC. She is actively involved in activities at Elevate Monroe Church and volunteers with Trinity Lutheran Church Soup Kitchen. Kaylee is the daughter of Allen and Julie Stein.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a health-related curriculum and must maintain full-time enrollment status. Additionally, a student must demonstrate community/school involvement and submit a letter of interest outlining their educational and career goals.
