The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Education Plus Credit Union Scholarship to Ashley Zielinski. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Zielinski, of Temperance, is a 2023 Bedford High School graduate. She is studying early childhood education while at MCCC. As a BHS student, she was varsity cheerleader and selected to participation in the SEC Leadership Conference for her grades, attitude and leadership skills. Outside of school, in addition to working part-time, she has volunteered with a community youth baseball league and at her church working with youth. Ashley is the daughter of Natalie Zielinski.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the recipient must be a member of the Directions Credit Union, must maintain part-time enrollment status, defined as six credit hours or more, and may be either a first- or second-year student.
