THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE EDWARD AND HENRIETTA KNABUSCH TRUST MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Edward and Henrietta Knabusch Trust Memorial Scholarship to Lindsay Masserant and Ezra Zornow.   Each $2,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, academic supplies and books.

Masserant, of Newport, is a 2025 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying nursing at MCCC. Following in her mother’s and brother’s footsteps, she plans to graduate from MCCC’s Registered Nursing program. She participated in the college’s Upward Bound program while in high school Lindsay’s parents are Ryan and Rebecca Masserant.

Zornow, of Lambertville, is a 2023 graduate of Bedford High School.  He is studying criminal justice while attending MCCC with plans to further his education at a four-year university upon graduation with an associate of applied science degree from MCCC.  He is a cabinet member of the Criminal Justice Club at MCCC and plans in participates in the club’s various community service events and actively involved in activities with his church.  Ezra is the son of Melissa Zornow and Jason Zornow.

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be have at least a 2.5 grade point average, demonstrate involvement in community service and must maintain at least part-time enrollment at MCCC. Preference is given to a Monroe County, Michigan resident.
