The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Hector and Pauline (Elsie) LeBrun Family Scholarship to Amy Parent. The $1,250 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Parent, of Monroe, received her degree through Huron Valley Continuing Education. She is pursuing an associate of applied science degree while attending MCCC. Amy is a member of Monroe Alliance Church. Shet is the daughter of her late parents JoHanna Parent and Dennis Conner and mother to Beau Parent.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be have at least a 2.5 grade point average and demonstrate financial need.
