THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE IRV LOCKETZ AND LYNNE GOODMAN NUET SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Irv Locketz and Lynne Goodman NUET (Nuclear Engineering Technology) Scholarship to Gabriel Karbler. The $1,500 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.

Karbler, of Castalia, OH, is a 2023 graduate of Margaretta High School. He is studying NUET Nuclear Engineering Technology at MCCC. Gabriel is fascinated by nuclear energy and looks forward to a career as a nuclear technician, with the goal of living a simple life that focuses on improving in his career. He played football from sixth grade through his senior year and received his varsity letter three years in a row. He is the son of Matthew Karbler and Robyn Karbler.

To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be a MCCC student in the Nuclear Engineering Technology program, and must maintain at least part-time enrollment at Monroe County Community College during their scholarship year. Part-time enrollment is defined as at least six contact hours per semester.
