The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lewis D. McClure Scholarship to Mara Vitale. The scholarship of $2,000 is to be used for tuition, books, supplies and fees.
Vitale, of Monroe, is a 2024 Monroe County Middle College graduate. She is studying respiratory therapy at MCCC and is a member of the Respiratory Therapy Club. Mara is the daughter to Anthony and Wendy Vitale.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must maintain a grade point average of 2.5 or higher, reside in Monroe County, and demonstrate financial need.
