The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded The Mariya Heinzerling Memorial Scholarship, formally the Student Nurses Association Scholarship, to Jillian Fell. The $500 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Fell, of Newport, is a 2021 graduate of Airport High School. She is in the nursing program at MCCC and is the President of the Student Nurses Association. Jillian is the daughter of Richard and Jennifer Fell.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student be enrolled in the registered nursing program or licensed practical nursing certificate program at MCCC, be a member of the MCCC Student Nurses Association and have a 3.4 grade point average or higher.
