The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Marvin and Jean Baumann Family Scholarship to Brittany Terry. The $1,600 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
Terry, of Monroe, is a 2007 graduate of Bedford High School. She is studying respiratory therapy at MCCC and is a member of the Respiratory Therapy Club. Brittany is the spouse of Chris Amazeen.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be pursuing a degree in an applied technology or health sciences occupational program at MCCC. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a resident of Monroe County, Mich., have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours.
