The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Pearl K.Quermbach Memorial Scholarship to Brittany Cox. The $1,150 scholarship is to be used for tuition and fees.
Cox, of Taylor, is a 2020 graduate of Trillium Academy. She is studying health sciences while attending MCCC. Brittany grew up with health issues that drive her passion to become a pediatric occupational therapist, and has been working at a doctor’s office and focusing on her health since being out of high school. In high school, she did community service at the doctor’s office she currently works at, as well as with Fish and Loaves. She was a member of the National Honor Society, multiple school clubs, and was on the student council. She also graduated with honors and co-valedictorian of her class. Brittany is the daughter of Samantha Audet and Brian Cox.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must demonstrate financial need.
