MONROE, Mich. -- Monroe County Community College's Office of Marketing and Communications took home eight Medallion Awards earlier this month -- two Gold, three Silver and three Bronze -- at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 3 conference in Madison, Wisc.
The Medallion Awards are the premier regional competition recognizing outstanding marketing communications and public relations achievements at community and technical colleges within each of NCMPR's seven districts.
NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR has more than 1,600 members from nearly 600 colleges across the United States and Canada.
MCCC's eight awards were the fifth-most in District 3, which includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada.
