The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Amy and Judge Joseph Costello Scholarship to Myshia Gehringer. The $900 scholarship is to be used for tuition and books.
Gehringer, of Newport, is a 2022 graduate of Jefferson High School. She is studying nursing at MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. She volunteers regularly for the American Red Cross. Gehringer is the daughter of Carol and Dennis Gehringer.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be financially disadvantaged.
