The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Drew Reeves Memorial Scholarship to Caleb Sandy. The $1,200 Winter 2026 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Sandy, of Blissfield, was a 2025 homeschool graduate. He is studying automotive service technology while attending MCCC. He has volunteered for Toledo Metroparks cleanup day and is involved in a bible study group and Run with Christ group. Caleb is the son of Thomas Sandy and Katheryn Sandy.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled full-time in the Automotive Engineering Technology Program and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. Full-time enrollment is defined as 12 credit hours for the fall and winter semesters.
