THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE EDWARD AND HENRIETTA KNABUSCH TRUST MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Edward and Henrietta Knabusch Trust Memorial Scholarship to Christina Chapp and Joe Garrett.   Each $2,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, academic supplies and books.

Chapp, of Erie, is a 2015 graduate of Mason Senior High School. She is studying radiography at MCCC. Originally dual-enrolled at MCCC, Chapp has returned to the college through the Momentum Adult Success program. Her parents are Margaret and Paul Chapp.

Garrett, of Monroe, is a 2025 graduate of Monroe High School.  He is studying psychology at MCCC with plans to further his education at a four-year university upon graduation.  He is an active member of the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at MCCC and enjoys engaging students through chapter initiatives. Garrett is the son of Joyce Fletcher and Luke Garrett.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have at least a 2.5 grade point average, demonstrate involvement in community service and maintain at least part-time enrollment at MCCC. Preference is given to a Monroe County, Michigan resident.
