The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the
Jacobs Engineering Technology Scholarship to Samantha Spain. The $1,000 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Spain, of Monroe, is a 2025 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying electrical engineering at MCCC. She volunteers in the community by working concessions at multiple sporting events. Samantha is the daughter of Lori Spain.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be pursuing an associate of applied science degree from any program in the Applied Science and Engineering Technology Division with preference given to a second-year student and must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
