The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Jarrait Farm Bureau Insurance Agency Agriculture Scholarship to Laila Nemeth. The $640 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, supplies and books.
Nemeth, of Milan, is a 2024 graduate of Milan High School. She is studying agricultural business management while at MCCC. She is a member of the MCCC Agriculture Club and Future Farmers of America Alumni Association. Laila is the daughter of Jeff and Lauren Nemeth.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the agriculture program at MCCC, be at least a part-time student, be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan, and must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
