The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Kirwen and Karau Scholarship to Haley Kuebbeler. The $1,850 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Kuebbeler, of Temperance, is a 2025 graduate of Bedford High School. She is studying early childhood education at MCCC. She is very active in Bedford High School’s Young Life group and works as a babysitter. Kuebbeler is the daughter of Ann and Jeffrey Kuebbeler.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be planning to transfer to a college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree, be a graduate of a high school in Monroe County, Michigan, show high academic achievement and maintain full-time enrollment status of at least 12 credit hours.
