THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE LYNETTE LaVIGNE DOWLER SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Lynette LaVigne Dowler Scholarship to Alivia Awishes.  The $1,100 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books, fees, books and supplies.

Awishes, of Carleton, is a 2024 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association. Awishes is the daughter of Clay and Krissi Awishes.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate of Airport High School in Carleton, MI, with preference given to a student who resides in Berlin Township, demonstrate financial need and must be enrolled at least part-time.
