The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary L. and Edward P. Kehoe Scholarship to Emma Mommerency. The $1,200 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Mommerency, of Monroe, is a 2024 homeschool graduate. She is taking general education courses to obtain her associates degree while attending MCCC. Mommerency is the daughter of Heather and Jeremy Mommerency.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be employed for 30 hours per week and maintain a part-time student status defined as six credit hours. Preference will be given to a student with financial need.
