THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE MARY MOSINGO COBB MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mary Mosingo Cobb Memorial Scholarship to Kendra Carpenter. The $1,350 Winter 2026 scholarship is to be used for tuition.

Carpenter, of Monroe, is a 2025 graduate of Airport High School. She is studying early childhood education at MCCC. She volunteers at Trinity Christian Church at Kids Kingdom and for the hospitality ministry.  Kendra is the daughter of Leah Osborne. 

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled in the Early Childhood Development Program at MCCC, maintain at least part-time enrollment, have a 3.0 grade point average or higher, be a Monroe County, MI, resident and be currently involved in community service.
