The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Mieden Farms Agriculture Scholarship to Laila Nemeth. The $1,150 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Nemeth, of Milan, is a 2024 graduate of Milan High School. She is currently studying agricultural business management while attending MCCC. She is involved in MCCC's Agriculture Club, and an active member of Milan High Schools Future Farmers of America (FFA) Alumni Association. She is the daughter of Jeff and Lauren Nemeth.
To be eligible for this scholarship a student must be pursuing a degree in the agriculture program at MCCC, must be at least a part time student, and demonstrate financial need.
