The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the National Conference of Standards Laboratories International Scholarship to Katarina Carradine. The $1,163 Winter 2026 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.
Carradine, of Monroe, is a 2023 graduate of Monroe High School. She is studying metrology and quality technology while attending MCCC. She volunteered to help prepare lights for a show at the Easter Michigan University theatre and was a member of the Botany Club. Katarina is the daughter of Keith and Rhonda Carradine.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the Metrology Program, be a Monroe County, MI, resident, maintain at least a 2.5 grade point average and enroll in a minimum of nine credit hours.
