The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Noel H. and Elizabeth R. Dentner Scholarship to Kyra Horak. The $2,000 scholarship can be used for tuition and fees.
Horak, of Petersburg, is a 2026 graduate of Summerfield High School. She is studying nursing at MCCC. While attending SHS, she was a member of varsity volleyball and a student prevention leadership team member. She is the daughter of Erin and Jeffery Horak.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a graduate from Summerfield High School, Petersburg, MI, have a 2.75 grade point average or higher, must maintain full-time enrollment and be a resident of Monroe County, Michigan.
