THE FOUNDATION AT MCCC AWARDS THE SONYA KAY BRETT MEMORIAL ENDOWED NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Sonya Kay Brett Memorial Endowed Nursing Scholarship to Abigayle Borg and Caleigh Raymond.  Each $1,950 scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees and books.

Borg, of Dundee, is a 2022 graduate of Dundee High School.  She is studying nursing while attending MCCC and is a member of the Student Nurses Association.  Borg is the daughter of Alicia St. Claire and Robert St. Claire and the spouse of Logan Stromski.

Raymond, of Maybee, is a 2024 graduate of Dundee High School. She is pursuing a nursing degree while attending MCCC. Raymond is the daughter of Nicole Raymond and Brandon Yoho.

To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a second-year student in the Registered Nurse Program, a U.S. citizen and a Monroe County resident. Students must maintain a three-quarter-time enrollment, which is defined as nine (9) credit hours.
