The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the Student Government Aim & Achieve Scholarship to Jackie Amaya. The $500 Winter 2026 scholarship is for tuition, books and fees.
Amaya, of Carleton, is a 2023 graduate of Airport High School. He is studying business management at MCCC. He is a member of the Student Government Assoication and is the vice president for the basketball club. Jackie is the son of Tino Amaya and Kathy Norman.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be an active member of the MCCC Student Government and remain active during the term of the scholarship, as well as maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
