The Foundation at Monroe County Community College has awarded the William J. and Hildreth C. Braunlich Memorial Scholarship to Emily McLaughlin. The $3,550 scholarship is to be used for tuition, books and fees.
McLaughlin, of Dundee, is a 2026 graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School. She is studying respiratory therapy at MCCC. She volunteers at the Oaks of Righteousness. McLaughlin is the daughter of Carla and John.
To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from SMCC, have shown academic achievement, participated in student activities or community service and demonstrate financial need.
