Fine Artist Sharon Bladholm to Speak, Display Work at MCCC

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College will host a lecture and display in April by fine artist Sharon Bladholm, who synthesizes art, science, nature and conservation in her work and has expertise in a variety of disciplines, including cast glass, bronze, and ceramic in the sculptural realm, as well as stained glass, printmaking and works on paper. MCCC Partners With IRS to Provide Free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has partnered with the Internal Revenue Service to provide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for low- to moderate-income taxpayers who generally earn $54,000 or less and need assistance preparing their own tax returns. Read Press Release

New Transfer Agreement With Northwood University Benefits MCCC Business Students

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College has signed a transfer articulation agreement with Northwood University, a specialty business school and leader in managerial and entrepreneurial education. The agreement allows students to complete an associate’s degree in business at MCCC and transfer with junior status to Northwood University or attend the third year at MCCC and enter Northwood with senior status under specific “3+1” programs.
