2022 OBOC Virtual Read-Walk-Run Challenge

OBOC Logo

This year’s book, Women of Copper Country, highlights the fight for safer working conditions in the copper mines of Calumet, Michigan. To make their voices heard, community women marched through the streets throughout the summer and into the winter.

One Book One Community challenges you to walk or run in our first 2022 OBOC Virtual Read-Walk-Run Challenge.

  • Join with friends and family to support this year’s virtual fundraiser.
  • Walk or run outdoors or inside at your own pace.
  •  All participants will receive a one-of-a-kind medal designed especially for the first Virtual OBOC Read-Walk-Run.
  • Awards will be given in various categories including oldest-youngest, most miles, most unusual run/walking locations.

The Virtual OBOC Read-Walk-Run will begin March 1st and continue through the month.
