Wednesday, February 5. Ghana: 2019 the Year of Return and Demystifying Africa, presentation by Dr. Kojo Quartey, President MCCC in the Audrey M. Warrick Student Services & Administration Building, Room A-173b, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Thursday, February 13. Evolution of the Detroit Bankruptcy, presentation by Robin West-Smith, MCCC Adjunct Faculty Social Sciences in the Audrey M. Warrick Student Services & Administration Building, Room A-173b, 10 – 11 a.m.

Wednesday, February 19. African-American Soldiers in the Civil War, presentation by author David Ingall in the Campbell Learning Resources Center, Room C-224, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday, February 25. Presentation Panel on the Underground Railroad and African American Relationships with Native Americans by  Diane Miller, National Program Manager for the National Park Service Underground Railroad Program  in the Audrey M. Warrick Student Services & Administration Building, Room A-173b, 3 – 4 p.m.

Saturday, February 29. The Big Gig! Blues Concert, starring Thornetta Davis, Toronzo Cannon and Rev. Robert B. Jones, Sr. in the La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.).
