MITCH RYDER AND THE DETROIT WHEELS TO ZOOM INTO MCCC'S LA-Z-BOY CENTER
Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels will bring their Detroit style of classic rock ‘n’ roll to Monroe County Community College on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the college’s La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater, which is located at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS SET FOR HEALTH CAREER-FOCUSED STUDY ABROAD TRIP
Monroe County Community College will host informational meetings on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Wednesday, Oct. 30 on its May 2020 Study Abroad Program trip to London and Paris, which is open to MCCC students and community members who are interested in a career in health care.

MCCC VISITING ARTIST SERIES TO FEATURE ANNA VAN SCHAAP
Monroe County Community College will host a lecture and month-long public display by Anna Van Schaap as part of its Visiting Artist Series.
The lecture will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m. in the Atrium of the La-Z-Boy Center on the college’s Main Campus, 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

MCCC AWARDED NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE FUND'S LARGEST GRANT FOR 2019
Monroe County Community College has been awarded the Native American Heritage Fund’s largest grant of 2019 – $199,234 – to create curriculum and a set of immersion experiences for K-12 students that are focused on how to research stories from the Native American perspective, MCCC President Dr. Kojo A. Quartey announced today at a news conference at the college.
